Our glass slab is made of glass plates that are properly cemented together.
Dimensions of the glass slab are: 75 x 50 x 18 mm.
Students can compare the refraction of light through a hollow glass slab and through a hollow glass slab filled with water. Thus, if a mark is put at the bottom of the glass slab, it can be analyzed that the mark will appear to be raised to different levels, when the glass slab is hollow and when filled with air.
