DEMONSTRATION DYNAMO
PR-100
This model dynamo demonstrates the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy.
It uses the same basic assembly as the motor.
All the working parts of the electric motor are clearly visible.
The model is mounted on a base plate, 200×125 mm approximately, which also carries a hand-drive pulley with a diameter of 125mm, coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by a rubber belt to give a step-up ratio.
External connection is via 4 mm sockets with a light emitting diode acting as an output indicator.
The magnetic field is provided by a permanent magnet.
The model may also be used as a motor on a 6-8V DC supply.
