This model is dissectible into 2 halves.
It shows the mediastinal surface with the cardiac impression; and the apex, base, and the hilum of the right lung.
At the hilum, in the centre of the lung, the bronchi and pulmonary vessels that extend from the heart and the trachea to connect each lung, are clearly depicted.
The pulmonary ligament, alongwith the grooves for the superior vena cava, azygous vein and the innominate artery are also visible.
It is mounted on a base with a stand and numbered with an English key card.
