This model of a dissected liver depicts the dual blood supply to the liver, that is from the hepatic arteries and the hepatic portal vein.
The biliary flow of the liver can be seen.
The gall bladder, the inferior vena cava and the porta hepatis(where the common bile duct, hepatic portal vein, and the hepatic artery proper enter) are also depicted in the model.
The falciform ligament is shown separating the right and the left lobes of the liver.
The model is mounted on a base with a stand and numbered with an English key card.
